IQVIA is looking for a Technical Sales Representative to manage and grow the customer in the agreed geography including Kenya.

The ideal candidate must be based in Nairobi.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Developing relationships with key decision makers at both external customer and also distributor levels.

• Technical trouble shooting at bakery level, problem solving, resolving complaints

• Increasing sales volume and value for Bakery yeast, Consumer Yeast and Milling improver in Kenya (not limited to Nairobi).

• Understanding of complementary product sold by the distributor

• Achieving profit margins through price negotiations and product costing

• Reporting and tracking on market size, opportunity including competitors' activities

• Tracking of company sales and stock movement in the regions which assist in stock forecasting and planning

• Weekly submission of sales report which includes market opportunities and activities

• Market budget preparation

• Ability to travel which might extend to Uganda as product category increases

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

· Tertiary qualification in field of food technology /baking/sales and marketing advantageous

· Min 5 years sales experience and baking experience is preferable

· Computer literate in MS Office

· Code 8 driver’s license and own transport

· Acceptance to be on call 24/7
